S4K Cheshire warmly welcomed the Warrington Guardian's newspaper editor, Mike Pearsons to our S4K kids rugby and toddler football classes at Broomfields Leisure Centre on Saturday.
S4K Cheshire Principal, Rebecca Smith, stated "It has been great having Mike here today. It is the perfect chance for us to demonstrate to everyone - near and far - the quality of the skill development classes that we run for toddler rugby and kids football every week. The team here work hard to make sure that every child is engaged in sport and able to learn some amazing skills. New parents are encourage to book a free taster at the Sport4Kids website".
The team at Broomfields Leisure Centre meet every week. S4K lessons are based on the Montessori teaching style, blended with child psychology and world class sports coaching techniques. S4K Football is based on the Dutch Coerver, Spanish Tiki-Taka and Brazilian Futsal coaching methods, while S4K Rugby utilises the precision and ball handling techniques of the All Blacks Rugby Union and Australian Rugby League sides".
S4K believe in investing in the quality of the coaching team. Coaches complete four months of training, both practical and via the S4K University, focuses around technical sports coaching and child development. Rebecca added "We have a brilliant team here in the North West and a set of amazing coaches that deliver quality sports sessions whilst entertaining like Walt Disney. The coaches deserve great credit for moving through their S4K University education so quickly and achieving Lead Coach status. Our parents and children extremely highly of them and are quickly welcomed into the S4K Family. The S4K Way is all delivered with an infectious smile - there really is nothing like it".
